Ross Dress for Less in Placerville is now open!

  Ross Dress for Less in Placerville is now open! It is located at 3966 Missouri Flat Rd in the Prospector’s Plaza Shopping Center. Ross Dress for Less sells Women’s clothing, Men’s clothing, Kid’s clothing, Shoes and Accessories, and Home Décor. Ross Dress for Less in Placerville opened on July 18^th 2014. This is exciting news for Ross Dress for Less, Prospector’s Plaza, and Placerville. I first heard about this Ross Dress for Less opening in Placerville because my Daddy saw the sign for a new Ross Dress for Less and told me about it. This was my very first blogpost I did a year ago. Ross Dress for Less in Placerville is creating jobs for the town. Prospector’s Plaza has gone through changes since its opening in 1981.

Timeline of Events of Prospector’s Plaza:

·         1981- Prospector’s Plaza opens with Kmart, Lucky Supermarket, and Longs Drugs

·         1999- Lucky changes name to Albertson’s

·         2007- Albertson’s changes name to Save Mart Supermarket

·         2009- Long’s Drugs changes name to CVS Pharmacy

·         2010- Hollywood Video leaves, Little Caesar’s Pizza and Anytime Fitness open

·         2011- Kragen Auto Parts changes name to O Riley Auto Parts

·         2013- Ross Dress for Less announces a store in Prospector’s Plaza, Payless Shoe Source, Smoke Zone and Classic Cleaners relocate to make way for Ross Dress for Less

·         2014- Ross Dress for Less opens, new paint job, new freeway sign, and Styles for Less and Oasis Spa and Nails opening in Prospector’s Plaza

Before this location opened, the closest Ross Dress for Less near Placerville was Folsom. Placerville residents have a new place to buy clothing. The size of this Ross Dress for Less is 25,000 square feet.  I am very pleased to see Ross Dress for Less opening in Placerville.

Fine Arts School in the Pines in Pollock Pines has relocated!

 

   Fine Arts School in the Pines in Pollock Pines has relocated! It is now located at 2667 Sanders Drive next to Knotty Pine Lanes.

    Fine Art School in the Pines offers different curriculums such as:

• ·         Drawing Fundamentals

• ·          Advanced Drawing

• ·          Water Color

• ·         Oil Painting

• ·          Pottery

• ·          Pastels

• ·          Sculpture Arts

• ·         Portraiture

The owners of Fine Arts School of the Pines are Doug and Dennis. We got to visit the gallery and art studio and meet the owners. Pollock Pines residents have a better place to do art. I am pleased to see that Fine Art School in the Pines has relocated near the bowling alley. Fine Art School in the Pines was founded in August 2012 by Doug and Dennis at a old school building in Pollock Pines. In April 2014, it relocated next to the Bowling Alley. I look forward to someday being a student at Fine Art School in the Pines.

Family Dollar in Pollock Pines is now open!

    Family Dollar in Pollock Pines, California is now open! It is in the former site of Los Hermanos located at 6524 Pony Express Trail in the Pony Express Station Plaza. Family Dollar offers their customers Clothing, Pet Care, Groceries, Frozen Food, Toys, and Home Décor. Family Dollar opened on July 10^th 2014. They will hold their grand opening on Saturday July 19^th 2014. Currently they’re giving shoppers coupons to use from July 17^th-22^nd at Family Dollar. This is exciting news for Family Dollar, Pony Express Station Plaza and Pollock Pines. Family Dollar in Pollock Pines is creating jobs for the town. Family Dollar is the latest new business to fill an old empty space in El Dorado County. Before this Family Dollar opened, the closest Family Dollar near Pollock Pines was Davis. Pollock Pines residents and tourists have a new place to buy essentials for a reasonable price.  Family Dollar is planning to open or already opened 525 stores in 2014. I am pleased to see Family Dollar open in Pollock Pines.

Bealls in the Carson Mall in Carson City is now open!

      Bealls in the Carson Mall in Carson City, Nevada is now open! It is in the north side of the former Gottschalks located at 1345 South Carson Street in the Carson Mall Shopping Center. Bealls offers their customers Women’s clothing, Men’s clothing, Kid’s clothing, Shoes, Beauty products, Handbags, Accessories, Jewelry, and Watches. Bealls in Carson City opened on April 17^th 2014. This is exciting news for Bealls, Carson Mall, and Carson City. Sportsman’s Warehouse opened a store on the south side of the former Gottschalks and I did a blogpost about the Sportsman’s Warehouse in January http://haydenbusinessblog.blogspot.com/2014/01/sportsmans-warehouse-coming-to-carson.html.   Bealls in Carson City has created  30 new jobs for the town’s people. Before this Bealls opened, the closest Bealls near Carson City was Winnemucca. Bealls just opened a store in Fallon, and there also planning to open a store in Gardnerville by an expansion plan in Northern Nevada. The size of the Carson City Bealls is 24,000 square feet. Carson City residents have a new place to buy clothing. This will help the community and Bealls expansion plans. I am pleased to see Bealls opening in Carson City. Bealls is owned by Stage Stores Inc. that’s headquartered in Houston, Texas. Stage Stores Inc. also owns Palais Royal, Peebles, Stage, and Goody’s nameplates.
