Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI)
in Keizer, Oregon is now open! It
is in the former Circuit City located at 6035 Ulali Drive NE in the Keizer Station Shopping Center. REI offers
their customers Camping and Hiking gear, Climbing gear, Bicycles and Cycle
gear, Fitness gear, Running gear, Snowsports gear, Traveling gear, Men’s
clothing, Women’s clothing, Kid’s clothing, and Footwear. REI in Keizer opened
in May 2nd 2014. This is exciting news for REI, Keizer Station, and

The size of this REI is 22,000 square feet. REI in Keizer is creating 50 jobs
for the town. The closest REI near Keizer is Tigard. Keizer and greater Salem
area residents have a new place to buy sporting goods. I am pleased and excited
to see an REI opening in the Keizer Station Shopping Center. I also think this
will help the community. REI is based in the Seattle suburb of Kent, Washington
and has 132 stores in 33 states. It was founded in 1938 by Lloyd and Mary
Anderson in Seattle, Washington.
