The Ford Ice Center in Antioch is now open!

    The Ford Ice Center in Antioch(a suburb of Nashville), Tennessee is now open! It is located at 5264 Hickory Hollow Place next to the Global Mall at the Crossing: http://www.globalmallatthecrossings.com/. The Ford Center has offers different programs such as:

• ·         The Adult League program
• ·         The Learn to Skate program
• ·         The Youth League program

The Ford Ice Center in Antioch opened on September 12^th 2014. The Nashville Predators play their practice games at The Ford Center. This is exciting news for the Ford Ice Center, Global Mall at the Crossings, and Antioch! The Ford Ice Center is creating jobs for the town. I first heard about the hockey rink opening by the Nashville Post: https://www.nashvillepost.com/taxonomy/term/18075. The size of the Ford Ice Center is 86,000 square feet. Before this hockey rink opened, the closest Hockey Rink near Antioch was the Bridgestone Arena (the home of the Nashville Predators). Nashville area residents and tourists have a new hockey rink to visit. The Ford Ice Center is owned by the Metropolitan Sports Authority. This is part of a redevelopment project of the old JCPenney store which plans to also include a library/community center and a park. I am pleased and excited about the Ford Ice Center opening in Antioch.
