El Dorado Hills is gaining a yuppie hotel and also a Country Western supply store

 

There is a new hotel that is coming to El Dorado Hills Town Center, adding to the momentum of growth this center has received in the past few years. It will actually be one of the first two locations in the Sacramento region for this hotel chain, the other being in Natomas. Aloft by W Hotels is the name of this hotel. They have actually been around since 2005 and I have stayed a several of their hotels across the country. I think this is a really cool moment for our county because I have been a hotel enthusiast my entire life going on vacations and collecting 100+ hotel pens and staying at hotels in the local area for my birthday a couple times and having one of the first locations of a major hotel chain being located in our county I believe is pretty special. Our county has 60+ hotels with 4,797 hotel rooms, which is a lot of hotels. But most of those are in the Lake Tahoe basin and there is definitely a lack in the Western Slope of the County where most of the people live. The Holiday Inn Express in Town Center is the only hotel in El Dorado Hills and is by far the nicest on the west slope of the county. (haydenbusinessblog.blogspot.com) So I believe this is a step in the right direction for travelers in the area and for businesses in the area. 

For those who could care less about a yuppie hotel, there is something that my Redneck and rural readers may enjoy that is opening in El Dorado Hills. Tractor Supply Company has been building a new store location on Latrobe Road in the Industrial Park near Blackstone. The address will be at 4470 Golden Foothill Pkwy. From visiting and driving by the other day, it looks like they could open the store fairly soon. I think this is a fun addition to the town because I enjoy looking at their animals, western clothes, western gifts, and they have pet supplies and farm supplies for those who own, live, or work on a farm or have a ranch. The closest Tractor Supply Company locations currently are in Rancho Murieta (another brand new location), Placerville(which I wrote about 10 years ago as one of my first blogposts. I couldn't find an opening date for either business from any internet source, but please tell me if you find an opening date so I can post it on the blog.
