Attention Cameron Park: There's a new Mexican restaurant next to Applebee's

Are you looking for new restaurants to try in Cameron Park?? Do you know that there is a new Mexican restaurant in the Fork Lift/Applebee's shopping center. It is called Valenz Mexican Kitchen, which is located at 3275 Coach Lane in Cameron Park, California at the end of the plaza behind Applebee's. The owner is Antonio Valenzuela, who originally started this restaurant as a ghost kitchen during the pandemic, which blossomed into two food trucks serving the local area. Valenzuela decided to sell one of those trucks to fund the operation of the restaurant, which is 3,280 sq ft in size, and allows him to expand his horizions in the restaurant industry. The building has been home to several different restaurants, including Fondue 152 which operated for three years-from 2020 to 2023 and ZacJack Bistro which operated from 2011 to 2016. I ate one chicken and one steak tostada which were both really good and delicious chips and salsa. I went in seeing a fairly limited menu and I went out with delicious food that I believe is on par and even better than the other local restaurants in the area. I would recommend giving this place a try and if you like it, please tell me what you thought about it!!
