My adventure in a pirate ship going across the sea:

My adventure in a pirate ship going across the sea:

On Saturday December 29th 2018, my family and I boarded  a ship that was docked at the Exodus Escape Adventures in Folsom next to Dimple Records at 311 East Bidwell Street.

As we tip-toed to the ship in the eerie darkness, we were greeted by an enthusiastic pirate who spooked us with his pirate accent. The pirate led us by lantern to the dock and his name was Sir Pelican Pete (Christopher Carlson).

Before we boarded, we zoomed back in time into the 1800's on a dock in London.  At the dock, there was our pirate ship that we were seeking after. With some teamwork and clue solving, we finally boarded the ship.  We had to find the treasure that John Newton pledged to William Wilberforce when he abolished slavery. Unfortunately, pirates had stolen the treasure and hidden clues in various places in the ship. We had to sneak on the ship in order to find the treasure while the pirates were in the pub. We only had an hour until they were going to head back to the ship. It was a thrilling adventure trying the search for clues!!

Exodus Escape Adventures currently has three different escape rooms:

·         Operation Save Christmas

·         Pirate's Revenge-the one where our whole adventure took place

·         The Hiding Place based on the story of Corrie Ten Boom (opens in February)

At each different escape room, you have an hour to escape.

The cost of the game is $35 dollars each.

Exodus Escape Adventures has a website for more information about their business and where you could book a trip: https://www.exodusescapeadventures.com/

It was an exciting adventure and  I challenge you to see if you can complete an Exodus Escape Adventure with your friends and family!!

And a great wind storm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion.  And they woke him and said to him, "Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?"   And he rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!"  And the wind ceased and there was great calm. He said to them, "Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?  And they were filled with great fear and said to one another , "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"                       Mark 4:37-41
