The Gospel is the This world's Best Hope

             Have you ever heard of the Christian Contemporary Acapella group called This Hope?  If you haven't heard of them before, they are a really encouraging group of guys who sing songs about the Bible and about the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you are wondering about where to see them at, their next concert will be held, Lord willing, at the First Baptist Church in Auburn, California. It is located 139 E. I recently attended the concert that they sang for at the Gold Country Baptist Church in Shingle Springs, California on Monday January 21st 2019. It was an amazing experience seeing them sing. I really loved it when they sang the song about Romans 8 singing "that nothing can separate us from the love of God."

The men who sing with this fun group are Jeane Bope, Daniel Johnston, Mikah Boudreaux, David Inabit, and Tim and Jonathan Inabit (who are brothers). Daniel Johnston joked at the concert that "the members of the group are all family."

After the concert, I actually sang with Tim, who sings with This Hope, a song called Send Aaron about Moses sending Aaron to speak for him, one of the songs that This Hope has sang before.

It was a really fun time at the concert seeing all the guys sing about Jesus.

This Hope was started in 1996 in the little town of Soldotna, Alaska when the five guys went full time with their ministry. They started doing tours in the lower 48 states and because of that, in 1997, God was calling them to move out of Alaska to the town of Woodstock, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, which is a much more convenient location for doing tours in the lower 48 states.

They have about 12 different CDS which all have Christian songs about Jesus Christ and what he did for us on the cross and how you can receive it if you believe in His name as it says in John 3:16.
