There's a new grocery store in Folsom!!  It's called the Sprouts Farmers Market and it's located in the former OSH building at 905 East Bidwell Street, across the street from Trader Joe's.

Sprouts Farmers Market offers their customers a variety of items to choose from:

·         Frozen Foods section: Ice Cream, Meats, Frozen Fruit, and Prepared Foods

·         Bulk: Chocolate, Nuts, and Grains

·         Fresh Produce: Fruits and Vegetables

·         Fresh Deli: Meats and Cheese

·         Vitamins and Body care

The Folsom Sprouts held its grand opening celebration on March 15th 2017. My family and I first visited this new location on opening week.  I really like the new Sprouts because its spacious, easy to buy groceries, and the people are friendly at Sprouts. We've been there a few times since it first opened and  it has been a positive experience shopping at Sprouts.

My amazing trip to the Sierra mountains!!

One Saturday in March 2017, My family and I finally visited the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains!   The reason why we went was that I wanted to see all the snow the mountains  have received so far this winter.  Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling good because of my sickness.  But I still wanted to see the mountains before the snow melted.  So at 10:00 am on Saturday March 25th, We began our journey to the mountains!!  Before I went to the mountains, My family and I stopped to eat lunch at the Auburn In N Out Burger , which was simple and tasty.  After lunch, we traveled on the gorgeous highway which has spectacular mountain views, beautiful pine trees of different kinds, snow surpassing the roof tops, and rushing rivers and creeks from all the snow.  At 1:30 PM, We finally arrived in Truckee, which is a small railroad town in the mountains. We walked in their cute downtown and stopped by a couple shops.  One was a modern coffee shop called the Coffeebar, which we stopped at to buy tea and coffee for our family to drink.  Then we headed to our next destination,  the Northstar ski resort.  Warm and welcoming, the resort with the entertaining central lodge, challenging ski courses,  deep snow, and amazing views of the valley below, made me want to ski. After we drove through the ski resort, on our way home, the sunny sky darkened and snow started to fall from the sky.  When all was said and done, the trip was fun and relaxing, yet it was not because I was sick, but we were able to see the beautiful mountains!!

Thank You for reading about my trip and may the Lord bless you!!
