A relaxing visit to a beautiful local coffee shop!!

This week's blogpost is about a local Coffee shop My mom and I visited called the Cameron Park Coffee and Deli. It's located at 3161 Cameron Park Drive in Suite 106 across the street from the Airpark in the shopping center with Thai House.

           This coffee shop serves:

·         Breakfast- muffins, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches (their Carrot cake muffin won Best of Show at the El Dorado County Fair)

·         Lunch and Dinner-sandwiches, burritos, and salads

·         Drinks- coffee and smoothies

My mom and I recently visited this encouraging and uplifting coffee shop. I thought it was encouraging because they have bible verses that help lift us up like Ephesians 2:4-5,

Because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, Made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our transgressions it is by grace that you have been saved.

They also have some beautiful artwork at the shop from local painter Joe Banaut. Kind and personal, the owner Mrs. Lona Wheeler shared her story about how God provided this coffee shop opportunity. In November 2014, The Cameron Park Coffee and Deli shop opened its doors for customers.

 Their hours are:

·         Monday-Friday  6:00am- 7:30pm

·         Saturday 8:00am -3:00pm

·          Closed on Sunday

It was exciting to visit this coffee shop and to see what they have. I would love to visit this shop again soon and I hope you can visit it also!!

A cute experience at a local new Vintage Market!!

A few days ago, My mom and I went to the new  Heartland Vintage Market store in Cameron Park on its grand opening day on May 5th. The shop is located at 3460 Robin Lane ( the road between Sizzler and the car wash) in Suite 12 of a local office building. At this new market, they sell Vintage Antique furniture that inspires creativity. Once inspired, they'll encourage you to take art classes for you to create beautiful furniture! I really like the atmosphere of the store with all their furniture, signs, old post cards of all the places in America (which was my favorite thing at this store), and last, but not least, their very kind and personal customer service. I believe this store would entice Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper to shop here.
Heartland Vintage Market is open on:
Friday from 12 PM - 7 PM
 Saturday from 9 AM - 5 PM
 Sunday from  11 AM - 4 PM
If you visit this store, may Your visit be a fun  and delightful!!

My amazing trip to the Sierra mountains!!

One Saturday in March 2017, My family and I finally visited the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains!   The reason why we went was that I wanted to see all the snow the mountains  have received so far this winter.  Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling good because of my sickness.  But I still wanted to see the mountains before the snow melted.  So at 10:00 am on Saturday March 25th, We began our journey to the mountains!!  Before I went to the mountains, My family and I stopped to eat lunch at the Auburn In N Out Burger , which was simple and tasty.  After lunch, we traveled on the gorgeous highway which has spectacular mountain views, beautiful pine trees of different kinds, snow surpassing the roof tops, and rushing rivers and creeks from all the snow.  At 1:30 PM, We finally arrived in Truckee, which is a small railroad town in the mountains. We walked in their cute downtown and stopped by a couple shops.  One was a modern coffee shop called the Coffeebar, which we stopped at to buy tea and coffee for our family to drink.  Then we headed to our next destination,  the Northstar ski resort.  Warm and welcoming, the resort with the entertaining central lodge, challenging ski courses,  deep snow, and amazing views of the valley below, made me want to ski. After we drove through the ski resort, on our way home, the sunny sky darkened and snow started to fall from the sky.  When all was said and done, the trip was fun and relaxing, yet it was not because I was sick, but we were able to see the beautiful mountains!!

Thank You for reading about my trip and may the Lord bless you!!

Cambridge Chiropractic provides:

·         Chiropractic care

·         Nutritional counseling

·         Massage therapy

I've been to their previous location many times to have my back adjusted and the experiences there have been very good!!

The chiropractor is Dr Petrice Foxworthy, who's been a chiropractor since 2002.  She is an active board member for the Cameron Park Chamber of Commerce and  a Distinguished Area Governor for Toastmasters. Her commitment as a chiropractor is improving the health of her clientele.

I believe going to the chiropractor is very important because they adjust your back so your body can heal, which helps you be more active and happier. Did you know that the first Thai restaurant in America was founded in 1959 in Denver, Colorado?

Did you also know that there's a new restaurant in Cameron Park, California called the Thai House?                                  The new restaurant is located at 3181 Cameron Park Drive across the street from the Airpark.

The meals that Thai House serves are:

·         Soups

·         Salads

·         Curries

·         Noodle Plates

·         Fried Rice

·         Vegetarian Meals

The Thai House made its grand opening on January 15th of 2017! My family and I ate at this restaurant recently. While I was there, I ordered the Lad Na Noodle, which has flat rice noodles with broccoli, baby corn, and carrots.   My family and I really enjoyed eating here and the food was really tasty!!  The restaurant also has an inviting atmosphere with friendly service, hardwood floors, linen napkins, and beautiful interior.  I would recommend this restaurant if you want Thai food in the local Cameron Park area.
