Woodland Museum of Biblical Archaeology has now Re-Opened!

Woodland Museum of Biblical Archaeology in Woodland, California has now re-opened!  It is located at 240 North West Street at the Woodland United Fellowship Church.  Woodland Museum of Biblical Archaeology presents artifacts dating all the way back to the time of Abraham and Lot to the time of the Early Church.  Each artifact has a label describing what it is and a Bible verse that talks about it. Dr. Carl Morgan (the pastor of Woodland United Fellowship Church which operates the museum) has been on several digs at the site of ancient Sodom in Jordan.  Much of the museum includes artifacts from these excavations which Dr. Morgan has been on.  Woodland Museum of Biblical Archaeology re-opened on January 11th 2014 and featured archaeologist Dr. Steve Collins who has led the Sodom digs.  It was a really cool visit and I think people traveling in the Sacramento area should visit this great attraction.  It is nice to have an expanded Woodland Museum of Biblical Archaeology in Woodland.
